Here we have some pictures so see what quality you can expect from the card

The command used for getting the image from the stream was:
> lav2yuv -f 1 ../stream.avi | y4mtoppm -L | ppmtojpeg >file.pnm
I know a format like ppm (no compression) would be better but than the image size would be more than 1MB for one picture, I thought that this would cause to long downloads. So I used JPG.

The first picture was recorded using a analog satelite receiver and the Composite out and Composite input of the IOMEGA BUZ. The video that was recorded in 2002.
TV Norm: PAL, lavrec setting: -d 1 -q 34
This picture was recorded using a analog satelite receiver and the Composite out and Composite input of the IOMEGA BUZ. The video that was recorded in 1981, there is much noise in the picture, even with a higher quality factor, but there the source has a low quality.

This picture was recorded from a Digital Satelite receiver using the SVHS output and the SVHS input of the IOMEGA BUZ.
TV Norm: PAL, lavrec setting: -d 1 -q 40
This picture was recorded from a Digital Satelite receiver using the SVHS output and the SVHS input of the IOMEGA BUZ. Here you see the typical comb effects produced when the video was recorded interalced (= Both field recorded after each other. 1/50s if you have PAL as TV norm) The video was recorded in 2003.

Some more test images for NTSC would be nice if someone could provide them.
Some other test images from a DC10 or a LML33 would also be nice.
If some other images from a Analog to Digital Video Box (like a Canopus Box would also be nice.
